The Starfish Story:
A young girl was walking along a long stretch of sandy beach. And scattered out across it were thousands of starfish that had been washed up during a storm. As she reached each starfish, she would pick it up and throw it back into the ocean.
She had been doing this for a long time when a man walked up to her and tried to get her to understand:
“Little girl, why are you doing this?
Look at this long beach. You can’t save all these starfish even if you walk all day and all night. You can’t even begin to make a difference here.”
After a moment of reflection, the girl picked up another starfish, and hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied:
“Well, I made a difference to that one.”
After thinking about what she had said, the man joined the little girl in throwing starfish back into the sea. Soon others joined, and many of the starfish were saved.

Meet the Team
She is the one who makes things happen in the background. Jessica is who you will most likely meet first and who you will talk to when you first contact us. She handles most of our phone calls, emails, and also sets up client schedules. Then she calls and makes sure your insurance does what it should, and records that information for the therapists.
We are all star-throwers here.
Helping people and our community is what gets us excited.
Each person is different,
and brings different joys and challenges to our job.
And in turn, we each have different strengths and insight to share.
Are you having issues with your relationship? Or need therapy that is responsive to your specific situation and family? Do you feel that life is just not going as smoothly as you need it to, because your situation is not “mainstream”?
Do you need guidance to help you get through depression, anger, doubt, or anxiety? Do you deal with self-esteem, relationship, sexual issues, or a feeling of isolation stemming from feeling separated from larger society? Are you asking if your feeling or situation is "normal"?
If you can relate to these questions, I can help.
